lydiaforthepursehand

Life goes on...I know I didn't discover anything new while saying it, just acknowledging a mere fact...
I thought that after we went on a trip to Seattle to see our friends and to witness their daughter getting married, I'll come home all excited and write all about it in my blog. No such thing, life interfered. And now, 3 weeks later, I don't really want to go back and talk about it.
Business, business, The PurseHand business is what I think about and do whatever I think could help to promote it.
Why more people don't see the necessity of having that wonderful product (I could say it without any shame - it's a wonderful product) I don't understand. I see only one reason - I don't promote it widely enough. My fault!
All I know and see from the list of my customers - whoever ordered one for herself, then orders the next one for her sister or a friend. That is because she who tried it wouldn't go back to leaving her bag on the "almost clean" bathroom floor, she wants the same comfort for the people she cares about.
Speaking of the bathroom floors...yea. I had one such experience yesterday. Went to the bathroom at the Hicksville train station, all because our train just stood there for a long time (the announcement was that unauthorized person was hit on the tracks, well...like it would make any difference if he would be authorized) with three huge shopping bags in my two hands and No HOOKS inside the stall.
How happy and thrilled I was to have my adorable PurseHand on me. I hardly could carry those bags, my hands were red and tired and achy, but The PurseHand didn't complain at all. I know if he could speak, he'd say - only three?
No, I didn't go batty as yet, I just LOVE my PurseHand.
Now I'm going back to promoting it, wish me Good Luck.

Dear Lydia, It was nice to talk with you today, about the myriad of topics; you have great conversational skills: I find that more in people from other countries, usually. I read all three of your blogs, and before I 'blog on' I have to say that this comment; "like it would make any difference if he would be authorized" was hysterical (so funny).

About your product: perhaps you're presenting it to the wrong audience. You're passionate about your product, and that's most important if one is going to sell their ware's to anyone: in my humble opinion. I see it as a novelty item - but that's not bad. Have you ever looked at the Tiffany & Co. site? They have plenty of 'novelty' items that they somehow make desirable - for a good price. They now sell a sterling silver keychain that one can get with a letter attached ( as in the first letter to a person's name). It's $145.00, and if it gets lost, the 'finder' just has to drop it in any mail box, and it will be sent back to Tiffany's where the owner gets a phone call to come and retrieve it: because each keychain has a id# on it: I received another Tiffany keychain one year for Christmas; same deal. Fortunately, I've not lost it - ever. But it has an id# as well.
I wonder if your product, the 'PurseHand,' could become an item that Tiffany would want to promote? Not to take the wind out of your sails at all, because you and your company would still be the sole manufacturers; I'm just wondering if it could be sold, through another company with a greater reach.
My last thought: underneath the stone part of the purse hand, can it be engraved? In other words, is there metal around the stone on the bottom side that a jeweler could engrave name or quote of some kind?
Good-night to you. I hope I said something useful. Best, Pat

Hi Lydia, I thought about a few days ago -- I mean thought as related to the Pursehand; generally I think of you often -- when I was out for lunch with 2 girlfriends. Both of them received the Pursehand from me as gifts. One of them uses it for sure, but she had bought herself another one too, a pretty dainty thing the size of a watch and can't hold more than a watch. She keeps them in different purses, so that she won't have to remember to transfer. Well, she had the dainty one with her last week. Her light, almost empty purse, kept falling from it and she said, "I know this would not happen with the Pursehand you'd given me." And she was right! Love, Bena.
